Luke Roche is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of ROQ Commercial Contracting, bringing over 20 years of experience across construction, demolition, civil engineering and groundworks in Ireland and the United Kingdom. Beginning his career as a machine operator at 17, he progressed through every level of the industry, completing an apprenticeship as an Electrician and a Diploma in Construction Management before rising to director-level roles in a series of multi-million pound businesses in the UK.
Returning to Ireland in 2022, he founded ROQ on a clear vision: to build a contractor defined by quality, reliability and delivery excellence in the growing renewable energy and infrastructure sectors.
Sheena Hanley is Chief Operating Officer at ROQ where she leads operations and strategic development across finance, procurement, HR, compliance, systems, tendering and organisational performance. With degrees in Business Studies and Information Design, and a background spanning banking, insurance and a lifelong connection to the construction industry, she brings sharp commercial instincts and analytical thinking to every challenge.
A founding member of ROQ since its incorporation in 2022, Sheena has been central to building the company from the ground up: Designing the systems, processes and governance structures that underpin the business today. She is the driving force behind ROQ’s operational digitalisation and the scalable frameworks that position the company for sustained growth.
Padraig Brady is Contracts Director at ROQ, with 20+ years of experience spanning Ireland, the Middle East and Australia. Starting out as a qualified Carpenter and Joiner, he worked his way through site supervision and senior leadership across commercial, pharma, education, residential and renewable energy projects. He holds a Degree in Construction Management from Atlantic Technological University alongside project management and health and safety qualifications.
At ROQ, he leads project delivery, client relationships and contract management, bringing a rare combination of hands-on trade background and executive-level experience to every project.
Dermot Reynolds is Commercial Director at ROQ. He brings 15+ years of experience in commercial management, cost control and project delivery across construction and civil engineering in Ireland and Australia. He holds an Honours Degree in Quantity Surveying from Atlantic Technological University and has managed the commercial lifecycle of projects spanning civil engineering, demolition, conservation and complex urban schemes from tender through to final account.
At ROQ, he oversees commercial performance across the project portfolio, bringing the analytical rigour and practical problem-solving that keeps costs controlled, risk managed and project value protected.
Myles Connaughton is Project Director at ROQ, with over 20 years of experience delivering civil engineering, utilities and infrastructure projects across Ireland and the United Kingdom. A graduate of Athlone Institute of Technology in Civil Engineering, he has progressed through every stage of project delivery – from Junior and Setting Out Engineer through to Site Agent, Project Manager and Senior Operational Leadership – building a comprehensive understanding of how projects are planned, built and handed over.
His project experience spans utility networks, roadworks, water infrastructure, overhead transmission line foundations and large-scale civil engineering schemes, and at ROQ he oversees the successful delivery of multiple concurrent projects, working closely with teams, clients and stakeholders to the highest standards of safety, quality and programme performance.
