Scope of works

We offer a range of ground stabilisation and formation improvement works, including:

  • Stabilisation of sub grade and formation layers
  • Treatment of soft, wet or unstable ground
  • Improvement of working platforms and access routes
  • Preparation of formation for roads, compounds and infrastructure
  • Support works associated with earthworks and drainage installation

Stable approach

We maintain full control over quality, sequencing and output. Stabilisation works are integrated within earthworks operations, using specialist equipment for in-situ treatment.



Phased delivery is carefully designed to align with wider programme milestones and in close coordination with 
engineers and design teams from other providers on site.

How we deliver

ROQ operates a self-delivery model with state of the art owned plant and in-house engineering and project management teams. We apply appropriate stabilisation methods based on site conditions and engineering requirements, including:

  • Lime stabilisation for moisture reduction and soil improvement
  • Cement stabilisation for strength and load-bearing capacity
  • In-situ mixing and processing of materials
  • Mechanical conditioning and compaction
